EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Episode 2 of “The Art of The Interview with Steven Adams”

In Episode 2, Steven interviews, filmmakers and DFFLA board members Rashid Bahati and Jaymes A. Hines.

Rashid Bahati is the curator of bringing in African and African Diaspora films to the festival.

Jaymes A. Hines is responsible for bringing the lost film, “Jackson 5 in Africa” to DFFLA. Locked away for over thirty years, this will be the last time this film is seen theatrically for quite some time.

Come enjoy a conversation that ranges from DFFLA to Negritude to the positive effects of technology, to beyond and back.

“Jackson 5 in Africa” screens Saturday, August 22nd.
